Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate
I am passionate about helping people through illness, major life transitions, and mental health challenges. Inspired by my personal health journey, I walk alongside my clients during times of uncertainty, supporting their exploration. My aim is to help my clients find meaning by living in authentic and fulfilling ways. My therapy is guided by presence; I seek to hold space with warmth and courage where every story, fear, and question can be explored openly.I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and completed my clinical training at the West Island Cancer Wellness Center, where I assisted patients and families with cancer and end-of-life issues through individual and group therapy. I earned my undergraduate degree from Brock University and a Diploma from Dalhousie University, and I contributed to research at Harvard University and Dalhousie University aimed at protecting Indigenous lands and advocating for the healthcare needs of refugee populations. My approach is rooted in relational and existential foundations. We work collaboratively to set goals and refine our sessions to meet your needs.
